The Monument is the first book-length history of the Socialist Party of
Great Britain. It includes a description of Fire Over
Europe, an event staged by the Absolute Union on 1 October 1942, as well as
information about the earliest work of Harold Walsby. The editor of this site
hopes to gain permission to reprint excerpts from this book from the current copyright
holder, Pluto Press.
